Offline Messaging

This is a trial run at an experimental new feature. Please note that this feature may be removed if it is determined to cause too much strain on the server.

For our Gold and Platinum supporters, we have added the ability to send offline messages to others. What this means is if someone isn't around you can leave a short message for them using the command below. You will type this in the lobby and if successful, you will receive a response from the server.

!MAILTO <USER> <MESSAGE>

Example:

!MAILTO Carryme Hey there, sorry I beat you so bad at Poker last night, don't be mad OK?

If the user is online, they will receive an immediate notification. Otherwise, they will be informed on their next log-in that they have messages waiting.

Please do not use this new feature for online support with the staff, this should be strictly for personal communications between you and friends. (E-mail is the preferred method for Island support.) Messages within this system are automatically deleted once read and is not meant for anything other than a simple form of offline friend-to-friend communication.

In addition, using these messages to harass, bully, advertise, or send any form of unwanted/unsolicited messages will result in an immediate block for your ability to use the command.
