[Guide] The Duplicate Director's Handbook
!DV2STATUS
This will show the current hands in play, their hand number and hand count. This command is run from a table. (Tip: Joining table 55 or higher will prevent your table from being auto-shutdown at the end of a round. If you are not playing and want to keep a table open to run these extra commands, join 55+ to not be hassled with having to reopen.) !DV2INIT This initializes the secondary Duplicate System (Dupe 2.0). This is mostly used when a scramble is being run. This command should be run from a table. !DV2HANDSPERROUND The DV2INIT needs to be run for this to work, this will set for multi-hand play. Example: !DV2HANDSPERROUND 2 This command needs to be run from a table. !DV2COMBINESCRAMBLE This toggles the "combine top players" option when in a scramble. This defaults to off, but if on, it will position the higher-point players at the same tables. This command needs to be run from a table. !DV2START This will auto-start a table that isn't started. This needs to be run from the lobby. !DV2NEWSCORING This turns on the "Compass Scoring" system in which north/south will have a winner, and east/west will have a winner. Do not use this command in a scramble format as players may be moved to ANY seat in a scramble and the results could be unpredictable. This needs to be run from the lobby. !DV2NEGATIVEPOINTS This toggles off the giving points for negative scores. Use this and prepare for controversy, unless you're hosting Suicide Spades, which is really what this was intended for. This needs to be run from the lobby. !DV2SETPRESETBID This command is for setting an event with a preset bid (usually 2 or 3). Example: !DV2SETPRESETBID 2 This command needs to be run from the lobby. Set the preset bid to 0 to clear it and allow normal bidding. This command needs be run from the table. !DV2SETROUNDS This allows you to change the length of the event. Example: !DV2SETROUNDS 15 This command should only be set BEFORE the event starts. This command should be run at the table. !DV2SCRAMBLE This command toggles on/off the partner scramble format, otherwise known as Random Partners. This command should be run at a table. !DV2BOARD This command displays the list of signups, both the individuals and teams. This command should be run at a table. !DV2SEATS This command displays the seating assignments. This command should be run at a table. !DV2GETSACS This will show who will be players that will be moved to the waitlist if you issue the sacrifice command (listed below). This command should be run from a table. !DV2SACRIFICE This command will attempt to start an event and move extra players onto the waitlist. The signup order will be factored in along with their passholder status (non-passholders will be waitlisted first). In addition, players who locked in with a partner will not be eligible for sacrifice. This command will also adjust the number of required players to start and begin the event. This command should be run from a table.
