Policy Update on the ability to Kick / Mute / Lock at tables

Going forward, the south (aka "hosting") position of tables will only be able to utilize the admin commands (kick, mute, table lock) if they are a community supporter. The first game this change has been implemented on is Spades, and the change will be rolling out to all games within the next few weeks.

One of our most common complaints is with players coming in with new nicknames and abusing the privileges by kicking players before games finish, locking tables, or otherwise unfairly abusing the "controls" they are given. If your table is experiencing an out-of-control situation and you need assistance, here are a few tips:

• If a passholder is in your game, make sure they take the south seat.
• If a Sysop is not available, check to see if a passholder will temporarily jump into the south seat to rectify the situation for you.
• If none of these options are available and a game is being disrupted in a way that it can't continue, please be sure to take a screenshot and send to pokah@mysticisland.net and ldyice@mysticisland.net, we have a zero-tolerance policy on harassment and will take the necessary action against any account preventing enjoyment of the site.
